The curvature of y2, compared to y1, is neither narrower or wider, but it is reflected on x-axis.

Compared to y1, y2's graph is shifted vertically. We see this in the graph by noting that the minimum point of y1 (0,0) is also the maximum point of y2.


There is no horizontal shift because the line have the same pattern horizontally. The minimums line up at x=0.
