Lesson 5 Exit Slip
The first function in the table is y1=4x^3 and the second function is y2=7x^3. They're both quadratic functions. The first column contains the values for the independent variable x. The domain of these values ranges from -25 to 25, making the scale 5.The x-values were then substituted into the function y1. I notice as the x-values increase the y-values decrease. The same applies for the function y2, as the x-values increase the y-values decrease. (0,0) is the vertex and it is also the minimum.

The exit slip question was revised. But either way, none of these were quadratic functions. Since they were all raised to the third power, they were cubic functions.
